Meet Your Artist, Jess

Hi, I’m Jess, the artist behind Jess 4u Art.

I am a San Diego-based multidisciplinary artist, storyteller, mother, and community builder. My work is rooted in love, memory, connection, and the belief that art can help people feel seen.

My art practice includes acrylic painting, watercolor, pen work, portraits, live painting, and interactive art experiences. Whether I am painting a couple on their wedding day, creating a memorial portrait, leading a children’s workshop, or designing a community art experience, my goal is always the same: to create something meaningful, personal, and full of heART.

Art has always been part of me, but I did not always know it could be a real path.

I always made "practical" choices in life. I earned my master’s degree in social work and built a career serving communities through housing, public service, and community development. That work shaped me deeply. It taught me how to listen, how to hold people’s stories with care, and how important it is for people to feel seen, safe, and valued.

Over time, I realized that my art was also a form of service.

Painting became a way to honor people, preserve memories, and create moments of joy. What started as a personal creative practice grew into Jess 4u Art, a business built around connection, storytelling, and a reminder to love with all your heART.
